Dear Nobody
I like silence; it makes me think.
Some people find this pecular.
Some people ask me what I think.
I tell them I think of the silence and I write:

Dear Silence
      You've always been a companion
As time moves on, so do we.
But what is time? How do we
Define a construct of the mind?

        So I ask

Dear Time
I wonder what makes you move on?
Do you not make us age as well?
And yet age gives us emotions and experiences...!
Then I think:

Dear Emotion
      How do I define you?
How do I define Love? Are you
Just an Anxiety in life? Life is lived
In a perpetual state of Anxiety.
To live in love indicates a superficial
Understanding of life.

        But I still question:

Dear Love
You are a mask that everyone
Likes to wear. You bring happiness at first,
But in the end you bring loneliness. A powerful
Product of the heart. Yet you cannot even live without
The other!

        And then you answer:

Life is nothing and absurd.
It is lived in a perpetual state of anxiety.
Individuals are alienated outside all constructs.
This is the nothingness of life .....

Dear Nobody...

Author's notes: I am not an existentialist! I needed an outlet to make me understand how Albert Camus understands the character Mersault in the book "The Outsider".
