LET YOU GO
Let You Go by Ria Rosa Quinto, written on 21/08/05
A light in my arms
No other can see
Your grace surrounding me
I've never seen someone like you before
From the moment I saw
You there in the ship
My soul reflected in you
A soul that I don't possess
Love, the crimson mist blows
Like banners from high
It's taking my love away to you
And I, I will never let you go
Hear my heart beating so
It's beating for you
No other can make me feel as you do
Right now, I will never let you go
But, my castle is not fit for you
You cannot survive with me
Does that mean I cannot be with you?
The bells are ringing
The footstep's singing
So you're coming home again?
Will you remember me?
Will you remember me?
Or will you remember the girl
Who's holding you now?
Instead of the girl who took you out of the sea
Would you still remember me?
(Coz) Love, the crimson mist blows
Like banners from high
You're taking my heart away with you
To a place where only you can fly
Hear my heart beating so
It's beating for you
No other can make me feel as you do
Coz of this I will let you go
For I cannot fly away with you
But please remember me forever more.

The theme is "Theatre Music" once again and is the song that I sent to the Board of Studies for my Music Composition... which is worth a whopping 15%...
The Little Mermaid as I see it in broadway, it's the scene where the mermaid and the prince are beached after that storm. And then she is frightened by the sight of other humans and she then realizes that the prince would think that the girl who found him at the beach was the girl who rescued him. Sad song, really =(
Based on the un-disneyized version of The Little Mermaid.
