Mesdames Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite
Mesdames Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite by Ria Rosa Q, written on 03/10/07

(Madam Egalite)
Oh you should have known to give thanks for the things that you've received
Oh the silent paupers screaming to the blinded woman who had
Hands over her ears
And who spoke without a word
As silent as the paupers
Screaming for injustice to be ceased.
And now the people are waving their hands to welcome back
The broken birds returning from the maddened ocean's foaming secrets

(Madam Fraternite)
Oh now there's anarchy in '89 and '48
Oh the paupers taking arms and marching to your gilded gates
The gates are now broken and the things you loved are lost.
Your replacement already replaced.
Your technology cannot save you now.
Our work here is done.
The blind woman was not much help.
So we'll take the law into our hands and
Take you where you belong

(Madam Liberte)
And now the revolution is giving up all the dead
The history repeated when your past crimes all catch up to you
The cutting floor is polished
All the guillotines prepared
Your sons are not forgiven
And your father turns his face away in shame
You never should have spilt our blood in all your useless warrior games

Author's notes: Once I started writing this I couldn't stop. The piano came first, then I added lyrics, then I snazzed up the piano. The piece is quite simple to play in the begining but it gets harder as the song progresses, but surprisingly I didn't stuff up the harder bits!

The song is a spawn of my head's dark imaginings of these Ladies of revolutions, complete with sadistic chuckles and vocal play that bend in and out of tune.
